Forms are built from templates your organisation configures. This walkthrough completes a Daily Visit Note for a client — other templates may ask for a different subject, or none at all.
You need access to the template and to the client.
Let a draft finish saving before you leave it. A saving indicator is not proof the form was submitted.
Step 1
Choose the template
Open Forms > Templates and select Daily Visit Note, or whichever template your task needs. Search if the list is long. If the template you need is missing, ask your administrator.
Step 2
Check the client
Choose the client, or check the one already selected. A draft you reopen arrives with its client filled in, and that is not necessarily the person you are with now.
Step 3
Write your answers
Open each step and enter what you observed. Complete the required fields — if validation flags a gap, go back to that field and fill it in.
Step 4
If you get interrupted
Wait for saving to finish before you leave. The draft is in Responses; reopen it and check your latest answers before carrying on. If saving fails, sort out the connection or error rather than assuming your work is stored.
Step 5
Review it
Tap Review or Review Submission and check the template, client and every answer. Go back to any field you need to correct, then review again.
Step 6
Submit and check
Tap Submit and wait for Form submitted successfully — the submitted response opens. Check its status: Pending means it is waiting for approval, Approved means the template needed none, and Draft means it was never submitted. You can find it again under Responses. If the outcome is unclear, look there before retrying so you do not create a duplicate.
Step 7
Other ways in
The assistant can draft a form for you from a description instead of typing it out — see Fill a form via AI chat. On the web the same templates are under Forms > Form Templates.
